Red Kimono Ayala Center Cebu

I can't make a good comparison between Red Kimono and perhaps Sumo Sam because I was only able to order a Bento and a smoothie. The food for me was not really extraordinary but it was okay. Between RaiRai Ken (SM Consolacion), I would say Red Kimono is a bit more expensive. But maybe because Red Kimono is located in Ayala.

Our lunch here below. If we were perhaps hungry, it wouldn't be enough, but we just wanted a light lunch because we were planning to go window shopping inside the mall.  Don't want to go around on a heavy stomach...

But in fairness, the smoothie was really yummy... 

The Gardens of Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral

It used to be open before without a fence, but people took it for granted and trashed the place.  Now it has a fence and it is being taken cared of...

The Facade of Metropolitan Cebu Cathedral.  Undergoing some kind of works. I find this church special because this is where my parents were wed. But during their wedding the church was undergoing repairs, and they had their wedding in the right wing...

Over the years the church has gone several transformations, from being drab, dark, and dirty - to becoming one of the most beautiful churches perhaps in the whole Philippines.  In fact it is becoming a favorite wedding venue for couples getting married.  I am happy that finally it is being taken cared of and given the value it truly deserves...

Max Restaurant Ayala Center Cebu

Max Fried Chicken is well known for its Sarap to the Bones Fried Chicken (delicious to the bones)!  They specialize also in Pinoy dishes.  In fact I love their lumpiang ubod-hubad, kare-kare, and a host of other all time favorite Filipino dishes - Pancit, Bam-i, there is dinuguan...  Prices are also very reasonable, they make us happy and satisfied!! 

Their store in Ayala Center Cebu is located in the lower level of Ayala Terraces, across Insular Life Bldg (on the other street).  Starbucks and La Tegola are just a few steps away.

Sumo Sam - Ayala Center Cebu

Sumo Sam is in the ground level of Ayala Terraces beside Thank God IT's Friday and Banana Leaf.  Smaller is size compared to it's two neighbors.  Food is good. Prices is similar to most of other restaurants. Service is good. But they charge 10% service fee. Yeah I wouldn't mind coming back again...

The Suite Room - Ayala Center Cebu

The Suite Room is  located on the top most level of Ayala's New Wing. It is a sister restaurant of Casa Verde. We had a light lunch after attending mass in the new Ayala chapel. Their salad is delicious - Mixed greens with candied nuts and grapes, dressed with strawberry vinaigrette.
